Councillor Anthony Perruzza was re-elected to Toronto City Council in 2014, where he has served since 2006 and is a member of Toronto’s North York Community Council, Public Works and Infrastructure Committee, is an Executive Member of the Toronto & Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), and Dufferin- Finch BIA. An experienced representative, Councillor Perruzza was a Trustee in the Metro Toronto Separate School Board (1985-88), a North York Councillor (1988-90), and a Member of Provincial Parliament (1990-95). As the former Chair of the Spadina-Subway Extension Committee, Councillor Perruzza played an important role in the TTC subway extension to York University and beyond and is very proud to see it underway.
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving incoming constituent calls and assisting constituents with their concerns. This requires some independent work and research, but you will be part of a young office and a very energetic team. As part of our outreach programs, you will be also assisting in different areas, from our youth outreach strategy to specific projects, like organizing events. The chosen applicant will also have to be trained in database management and therefore inputting will be required.
The successful applicant will have to be comfortable dealing with requests from the public and will be at ease under stressful circumstances. They will be comfortable working with database software. They will also have to be punctual and professional in their approach to the work they are assigned.
