Company Bio:

The Canadian Communications Foundation maintains a website of the history of Canadian radio and television broadcasting. It was established in 1967 by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters. Its mission is to "commemorate throughout Canada the development of electronic communications".


• Social media research and development, and
• Research to enhance and build the website
• Add to Twitter and Wikipedia presence
• Research to develop content for the website
• Maintaining and contributing to the Twitter account
• Updating Wikipedia
• Other duties as requested


• Knowledge of Canadian broadcast media, especially its history
• Ability to research and develop new content for website
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• Ability to use social media such as Twitter
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• Punctual and professional in their approach to the work assigned;
• Accurate spelling and very good proofreading skills;
• Preferred skills, some ability with Wikipedia, some ability with scheduling Tweets

• Willingness to learn and adapt to tasks needed when the website is transferred
• Willingness to learn to work on new WordPress website to create updates
