Here are a some candid clips from students in our program, to give you an idea of what they have learned, what they get out of the program and why Communication Studies at York is the right choice for you.
In the first video, student Cheyenne Alexander-Legerton describes why she chose the International BA program in Communication Studies, and her focus on public broadcasting. The iBA required her to have a language component, and her personal interests and bilingualism in French opened the door for a study-abroad exchange, where she will complete her undergraduate degree in France.
In the video below, student Bradley Ferns speaks about how he benefited from interactions with his professors, as well as a work placement opportunity, and how his main focus shifted from his original interest in journalism towards marketing and advertising.
In the video below, Communications Studies student Marc Coporiccio speaks about how engagement on campus has changed his university experience. Previously the president of Founder's College, Marc advocates for student involvement being the road to success.
Here is a video of Priscilla Reidt, talking about the Children, Media, Education and Change Digital Footprint Project.
